In 2015 a small group of cannabis enthusiasts came together to create The National Cannabis Festival to mark the end of marijuana prohibition in D.C. Now in its third year, the festival is a celebration of legalization and the progress of the cannabis movement across the nation. This year, 4/20 weekend at RFK Stadium grounds will feature two-days of advocacy and education programming complete with a concert headlined by Cypress Hill. Read on for more information.
On 4/20/18, gather with activists, government leaders, healthcare professionals, veteran groups, civil rights organizations and more will kick off the weekend with The National Cannabis Festival Policy Summit at The Neuseum. The Summit is a call to action for American leadership and will cover such topics including.
- Criminal Justice and Cannabis Legalization
- Harm Reduction and Opioids
- Alternatives for Veterans
- The Cannabis Industry and Banking
- Creating a Diverse and Equitable Industry
